Signed “Hout bladi, jawda madmouna” nationally and “Moroccan Seafood, quality approved” internationally, this new label presented on the sidelines of the Halieutis 2013 fair, organized in Agadir from February 13 to 17, 2013, is now the collective brand signature of Moroccan seafood products under the sign of quality.
These labels, which will meet precise specifications and comply with international standards, will facilitate the rapid identification of the product and capitalize on the quality efforts implemented by all players in the Moroccan fisheries sector.
The purpose of the labeling system in place is, through the differentiation of products and the highlighting of their specific strengths, to promote the Moroccan origin on national and international markets. This approach, which gives consumers confidence, aims to increase domestic consumption of seafood products on the one hand and to improve the positioning of these products in foreign markets with high potential on the other.
