Moroccan participation in SEAFEX 2016

Morocco is participating for the second time in the "SEAFEX" Show, which will take place from November 7 to 9 in Dubai, the platform of choice for operators in the fisheries sector in the Middle East.

Led by the Autonomous Establishment of Export Control and Coordination (EACCE) under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, participation in this show presents interesting opportunities for Moroccan operators specializing in the various sectors of the seafood processing and enhancement industry, in order to conquer the Asian market, particularly that of the Gulf countries.

With a pavilion spread over an area of 102 m², Morocco will be present with a dozen exporting companies representing the frozen, canned and ready-to-eat sectors.

Moroccan seafood will be exhibited under the banner "Moroccan Seafood", a joint signature aimed in particular at improving the positioning of Moroccan seafood in this region.

Morocco is the 1st country in Africa and the 17th largest producer worldwide in the field of sea fishing with an annual production of 1.3 million tonnes.
